​My Teaching Story
I am a licensed teacher originally from the U.S.A., and I am currently teaching English Language Arts to children at a wonderful Montessori-inspired Islamic school.

I would like to share a little about my background with you, and why I transitioned to teaching 8 years ago. Immersing myself in diverse cultures has always been a passion of mine, leading me to pursue a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology. Alongside my academic journey, I ventured into various fields including administration, tutoring, and volunteering. Throughout these experiences, my dedication to assisting others in achieving their educational and aspirational goals grew stronger.

I think my journey really began when I traveled abroad to Malta. Driven by the desire to contribute to a more harmonious and sustainable world, I embarked on a dual-master’s degree journey in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, and Conflict Resolution-Mediterranean Security, spanning George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and the University of Malta. This transformative program not only equipped me with invaluable skills in conflict prevention and resolution but also afforded me the enriching opportunity to live amongst diverse global communities.

Among the numerous enlightening courses, Negotiation, International Communication, and Ethnic and Cultural Factors in Conflict Resolution stand out as personal favorites. During my master's dissertation research in Sweden, I discovered a newfound passion for teaching English, initially as a side endeavor. Over the past eight years, I've dedicated myself to teaching ESL classes to professionals, both in-person and predominantly online.

As I transitioned into the role of a stay-at-home parent, the significance of optimizing time and energy became paramount. Recognizing the value of my students' time and energy, I embarked on a mission to craft a methodology that delivers swift and tangible results tailored to each individual. Thus, my results-based program was born, meticulously designed to efficiently guide students towards proficiency in English, specifically in business communication and negotiations.
